Find it in PDF Studio: Tools > Select & Edit > Select Text

Drag through real PDF text in reading order. Ctrl+C copies the selection. On an image-only scanned PDF, use Copy/Scan Text for OCR-based recognition.

How to use it

  1. 01

    Open a PDF or create a blank document.

  2. 02

    Choose Tools > Select & Edit > Select Text.

  3. 03

    Drag through real PDF text in reading order. Ctrl+C copies the selection. On an image-only scanned PDF, use Copy/Scan Text for OCR-based recognition.

  4. 04

    Review the result; use Save As for a separate copy when changing a document.
